The Crow Conference on Mango Tree

One bright sunny morning, in a small village, there stood a big mango tree near a school playground. This tree was not just any tree — it was the head office of all crows in the area. Every day, crows gathered there to discuss very serious matters like food, naps, and how to trouble the neighbourhood cat.
On this particular day, Chief Crow Kaka Rao called for an urgent meeting.
“Caw! Caw! Attention everybody!” shouted Kaka Rao, puffing his chest importantly.
Crow Chinnu flew in and asked,
“Chief, is it about the biscuit packet I found yesterday? I already ate it.”
Kaka Rao glared.
“No, Chinnu! This is about something more serious.”
Crow Munna, who was half asleep, mumbled,
“If it is not about food, I am not interested.”
“Sit properly!” snapped Kaka Rao. “This morning, I saw something terrible.”
All the crows gasped.
“What happened?”
“Did the cat learn to fly?”
“Did humans stop throwing snacks?”
Kaka Rao cleared his throat dramatically.
“A new scarecrow has been placed in the nearby field.”
Silence fell on the tree.
Then Chinnu burst out laughing.
“That old fellow made of sticks and shirt? Chief, last time you were scared of a plastic bag also!”
The other crows giggled.
“I was not scared!” protested Kaka Rao. “I was… doing safety inspection.”
Munna yawned.
“So what is the plan? Shall we attack it?”
“First we must investigate,” said Kaka Rao. “We will send our smartest crow.”
All eyes turned to Professor Kaali, the oldest crow with grey feathers.
Kaali adjusted his imaginary spectacles.
“Hmm. I accept the mission. But I require one condition.”
“What condition?” asked everyone.
“I need snacks after the mission.”
“Approved!” shouted all the crows together.
The Investigation
Professor Kaali flew slowly towards the field. The other crows watched from the tree like cricket spectators.
Kaali circled the scarecrow once… twice… then landed on its head.
Nothing happened.
He pecked its hat. Still nothing.
Then Kaali shouted back,
“Breaking news! This fellow is useless!”
All the crows flew there immediately.
Chinnu sat on its shoulder.
Munna tugged its shirt.
Another crow tried to style its hair (which was actually dry grass).
Suddenly Munna announced,
“I declare this scarecrow our new clothes stand!”
Everyone laughed loudly.
The Great Snack Problem
Just when things were fun, tiny crow Pinky came flying fast.
“Emergency! Emergency!”
“What now?” groaned Kaka Rao.
Pinky said,
“The school children have started eating samosas… and they are not dropping any pieces!”
This was serious. Very serious.
Chinnu held his head dramatically.
“How can they eat without dropping? This is against tradition!”
Kaka Rao thought deeply.
“We need a strategy. Suggestions?”
Munna raised his wing.
“I suggest we stare at them continuously. Humans get nervous.”
Pinky said,
“Or we can sing loudly. They may throw food to make us quiet.”
Professor Kaali nodded.
“Excellent. Operation Samosa begins now.”
Operation Samosa
All the crows lined up on the school wall.
“Ready?” whispered Kaka Rao.
“Ready!” they replied.
“Start staring!”
Twenty crows stared silently at the children eating snacks.
One child noticed.
“Hey look! So many crows!”
Another child waved his samosa.
The crows stared harder.
Then Chinnu began singing,
“Cawww cawww samosaaa please!”
Soon all the crows joined, making terrible music.
The children laughed and finally one boy threw a small piece of samosa.
Victory!
The crows rushed like rockets.
Munna grabbed it and shouted,
“I got it! I got it!”
But in excitement he dropped it again… and a squirrel took it.
All the crows froze.
Chinnu said slowly,
“We conducted full operation… and squirrel ate profit.”
Even Kaka Rao couldn’t stop laughing.
Back to the Mango Tree
In the evening, the crows returned to their mango tree.
Kaka Rao announced,
“Today we learned important lessons.”
Munna asked,
“What lessons?”
Kaka Rao counted on his feathers:
“Number one — never trust scarecrows. They are boring.
Number two — humans sometimes share snacks.
Number three — squirrels are thieves.”
Pinky giggled.
“And number four?”
Kaka Rao smiled,
“Never stop laughing, even if you lose samosa.”
All the crows shouted,
“Caw! Caw! Agreed!”
As the sun set, they settled into their nests, still joking and chatting.
Chinnu whispered,
“Chief… tomorrow meeting topic?”
Kaka Rao replied,
“Yes. Very important discussion.”
“What?”
“How to steal mangoes without falling.”
Munna sighed happily,
“Finally… a useful meeting.”
And the mango tree echoed with their cheerful laughter as the funny crow conference ended for the day.
